Willowra - Central Australia 2014: (tbc)

Purpose: There will be opportunities for works of service to the indigenous community 4hrs north-west of Alice Springs.

When:  Late in Term 3 (tbc)

• Transport from Alice Springs to Willowra
• Meals

Students may bring spending money for personal items or shopping.

Accommodation: We will be at the school in Willowra, sleeping arrangements have been made using swags provided by the school in the the school buildings.

Possible Activities:

• Work with children in the school. (reading, teaching songs, drama, crafts, games, cooking and serving meals etc)
• Works of service such as required (painting, cleaning, landscaping, paving etc)
• Working with the youth group.
• Run afterschool programs.
• Sightseeing including a trip into the gorges and ranges around Alice Springs such as Standley Chasm and Ormiston Gorge. (A visit to Uluru may be possible but not guaranteed for logistical reasons.
