Bali - Another Success Story!

Our MACC team did a great job in Bali. Even the cancellation of our return flight home due to the volcanic ash cloud from Mt Raung in Java turned out to be a blessing. Our 3 extra days were a positive rather than negative time.

Some trip highlights:

Using Missions Day funds we were able to:

  • purchase and assemble 140 birthday gift bags to give to children in a Compassion project in Denpasar.
  • provide a brand new push bike to a family of three children who will be able to ride the 4km to and from the Compassion project 4 times per week.
  • pay for (and help build) a concrete 10000litre watertank for a very poor family living in a remote mountain village in north Bali.
  • supply canvasses, paints and brushes to Balilife Children's Home in south Bali.
  • bless several pastors.
  • help finish a discipleship house for young Christian boys who are not able to live at home
The Team:
  •  helped build a watertank (mixing concrete, sifting gravel and sand etc)
  • taught English in villages
  • taught songs, games and had fun with little kids
  • did face painting, art, played duck duck goose
  • shared with Youth at C3 Bali
  • explored and experienced much of what life in Bali is about
